I started a new save with the mod already installed, got to level 15, completed the quest, and bought the farm.went to a mill and I still couldn't buy lumber. To see if i could fix this, I also bought the vanilla house in whiterun, Houses Owned went up to 1 (not 2), went back to the same mill and i could now buy lumber.It started off as just that, potions and such. But then it grew, and I started to add more stuff and change more stuff that I found ingame, and it grew into quite the small and nice little quality of life changes and additions. Only 34 (maybe a few more with DLC, anniversary) followers can be stewards in Hearthfire. This mostly overlaps with with GHP with a couple exceptions either way that I can't remember. This means many (most) of your potential followers simply cannot be stewards.
