I took off the floor plate and pulled the spring out a couple of turns and held it firm. Putting rounds in was then no problem.It is not a range gun, well at least for not more than a box of ammo. The CPX weighs in at just under 16 oz. and combine that with a 9mm, it can be a bit snappy and will wear you out soon enough. But is is accurate enough to get good groups and have fun with it.
